Updates
Some good trails in this area and circuits usually involve the use of both fire trails and gravel roads. There are a few single tracks, not mentioned on this site worth exploring, although they can be muddy and used by horse riders, walkers and the random illegal motorbike, but definitely make a ride in the area more rewarding. Past 4WD use, now stopped, has significantly degraded the ride quality in certain areas, compared to 10 years ago at least, but with time the track is fighting back. Some beautiful views from the top of the Shepherds of the D'Entracasteaux make it worthwhile on a clear day. Check out trails on the right side of old Station Road just past the last house where the road becomes gravel.
